Recipient of an award from the National Association for Interpretation in 2005, the Arctic Interagency Visitor Center provides information for travelers interested in hiking or road-side observation along the Dalton highway leading into the tundra from Fairbanks. The Arctic Interagency Visitor Center aids visitors in their knowledge and understanding of the complex natural systems that exist in the far north and prepares hikers for the unexpected in this magnificent wilderness.
